International Institute of Rhode Island's 12th Annual
Spring Carnival Ball was an overwhelming success Saturday, April 25th, at the Rhodes-on-the-Pawtuxet in Cranston

The theme was Masks from around the World. Various awards were earned by those who brought masks.  Awards were also earned by those in creative or ethnic costume.

Diversity was celebrated with an evening of international music, food,
dancing and costumes. Live plena and bomba music from Los Plenos del Coco was featured along with other entertainment by Rolling Thunder.
